GarageGames was an early champion of independent game development, and its InstantAction platform later took its games into the browser as live services. I grew up professionally there, from art intern to vice president.

Fallen Empires: Legions

As VP of game development in 2009, I led the internal team through the launch of Fallen Empires: Legions.

ThinkTanks Online and Rokkitball

As game director from 2007 to 2008, I directed Rokkitball and ThinkTanks Online. I then continued live development on both, along with Marble Blast Online, as GarageGames pivoted to games as a service.

The early years

I joined as an art intern in 2002 and was the company’s sole full-time artist during its startup phase. As senior artist and level designer from 2003 to 2007, I covered game art, level design, and art direction, plus the company’s web and marketing design.
